SALES ASSOCIATE
We are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Indian and South Asian fashion and be comfortable helping customers select outfits for everyday wear, weddings, celebrations, and special occasions.
Location: Calgary and Edmonton
What We're Looking For:
- Knowledge of Indian clothing and fashion, including women's, men's, and children's wear
- Knowledge of accessories and/or jewelry
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to help customers select outfits based on their style, occasion, and preferences
- Previous retail or sales experience is an asset
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Must be fluent in English and able to speak at least one of the following: Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu
- Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
- Reliable and able to work as part of a team
TAILOR
We are looking for an experienced Tailor with strong knowledge of Indian clothing and alterations.
The ideal candidate should be confident working with a variety of Indian garments and be able to make alterations to achieve the proper fit while maintaining the original design and finish of the garment.
Location: Calgary and Edmonton
What We're Looking For:
- Experience tailoring and altering Indian clothing
- Strong knowledge of garment fitting and alterations
- Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and garment styles
- Experience with suits, lehengas, sarees, blouses, kurtas, sherwanis, and other Indian garments is an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to complete alterations accurately and efficiently
- Previous professional tailoring experience required
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple garments
- Professional and customer-focused attitude
SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATOR
We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Social Media Content Creator to help showcase Deepali Fashions across social media.
We’re looking for someone who understands what is currently trending and knows how to turn our clothing, jewelry, accessories, and other products into engaging content that people want to watch and share.
Location: Calgary and Edmonton
What We're Looking For:
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and current social media trends
- Ability to create creative, entertaining, and engaging videos
- Ability to showcase products by wearing them, styling them, modeling them, or presenting them in unique and creative ways
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating content featuring yourself
- Ability to create content that highlights Indian clothing, jewelry, accessories, and new arrivals
- Strong sense of fashion, creativity, and visual presentation
- Ability to identify trending sounds, formats, concepts, and styles
- Basic video editing skills
- Creative ideas for increasing engagement, views, and followers
- Previous social media or content creation experience is an asset
- A strong portfolio or examples of previous work are highly preferred
